Kim Kardashian West's surrogate is three months pregnant

It has been reported that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are expecting their third child, and their surrogate is already ‘three months pregnant’.

The superstar and her rapper husband are yet to confirm reports that they are set to add to their brood via a surrogate, but it is believed they have chosen the method because Kim suffers from placenta accreta and it is too dangerous for her to carry another child to full term.

Sources have now revealed to US Weekly that the woman who is carrying their baby is from San Diego, in her late 20s, and is entering the second trimester of pregnancy.

The surrogate was found through an agency and Kim and Kanye have reportedly put down a $68,850 deposit, while $45,000 will be paid in 10 equal installments to the unnamed woman – who has been a surrogate before.

However, if it is a multiple pregnancy she will receive an additional $5,000 per child.

If she loses reproductive organs in the process of her pregnancy and labour, she receives an additional $4,000.

In return, the surrogate must refrain from smoking, drinking and taking drugs during the pregnancy, and she cannot go in hot tubs or saunas, handle or change cat litter, apply hair dye, drink more than one caffeinated drink per day or eat raw fish.

She has also agreed to restrict sexual activity in the weeks leading up to getting pregnant including foregoing intercourse for three weeks after embryo implantation.

The agreement also states the 40-year-old rapper and his 36-year-old wife ‘assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child … that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects.’

Kim and Kanye already have Saint, who is now 19 months old and four-year-old daughter North.

‘After having Saint, Kim was told she couldn’t carry another baby – that it would be too dangerous – and she was okay with that. She was content with two. But even after having Saint and knowing everything, Kanye was already talking about having more kids. He would want a family of five or six if it was up to him.

‘Kim was never going to let herself get pregnant again. But she thinks her kids have grown up too fast and misses having a baby in the family. Things have been good for the past few months, and she started agreeing with him [about having another child],’ a source said.
