21 people across Surrey have been recognised in this year's King's Birthday Honours list. From famous faces to those living more regular lives, these men and women have been recognised for their achievements and service.

Lists of names are announced for the King’s official birthday (this year June 15) as well as New Years Eve. The monarch's birthday will also be celebrated by a flypast which will be visible from parts of Surrey, see the full map here: Map shows Red Arrows flypast route as King's birthday celebrations pass Surrey towns.

This year notable entries from Surrey include countdown star Susie Dent and the leader of Surrey Council Tim Oliver.

Other names on the list are Vicki and James Woodall who are each being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) after raising £2.2 million for charity. Reacting to the news James said: “It blows our minds to receive recognition in this way.” Read more about their store here.
