Kourtney Kardashian Explains Her Children's Strict Diet

Kourtney Kardashian is known for being a bit of a health freak when it comes to her diet, with the reality star’s strict rules often making her the butt of all jokes during episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

However, Kourtney has insisted that she has noticed a positive change since cutting gluten and dairy from her and her young children’s diet, opening up about her regime in a new blog post.

Kourtney is mum to six-year-old Mason, four-year-old Penelope and 20-month-old Reign and has now revealed the extent of her rules when it comes to the kids - admitting that she allows them to have the odd off day.

She shared: “I have noticed a great positive change in behaviour with my children. Of course, we pick our battles and I do let the kids have popcorn at the movies and a churro at Disneyland, etc.

"But for birthday parties, which can sometimes be every weekend, I bring extra gluten and dairy-free cupcakes and they are happy with that.”

The 37 year old went on to add what she and her children enjoy eating at meal times, claiming that her four year old is a huge fan of salads.

She continued: “For lunch, we usually have carrots and celery with hummus and a gluten-free rice tortilla with sliced turkey meat or turkey dogs - no bun.
"Penelope and I love salads, so we usually eat a big yummy one for lunch.

"When we were just in Italy, we all had pizza one night. But for the rest of the trip, I found that almost every restaurant had gluten-free pastas and gluten-free bread.

"We also had ice cream one evening, but almost every other night, we had lemon sorbet for dessert.”

The father of Kourtney’s children, Scott Disick, has often voiced his concern about how strict Kourtney can be with their diets, and has been seen sneaking treats to the kids in episodes of the family’s hit reality show.
