Cornwall’s sweet tooth is about to be satisfied!

Krispy Kreme has officially opened its very first shop in the Duchy, bringing its iconic glazed doughnuts to Nicholas Street in Truro.

This new location will let doughnut lovers in Cornwall have the chance to try Krispy Kreme’s fresh daily doughnuts, without having to travel to its nearest outlet in Plymouth.

The shop officially launched on Thursday (July 4) with eager customers lining the streets to get their hands on the delicious doughnuts.

Truro BID has welcomed the new business to the high street. A spokesperson said: “Krispy Kreme doughnuts opened its very first shop in Cornwall today, Thursday, July 4 on Nicholas Street, creating lots of interest from customers.

“The new store will serve all the latest-limited-edition doughnuts, iconic melt-in-the-mouth original glazed doughnuts, as well as coffee, shakes and soft drinks.

“We’re delighted to welcome you to the city. Great to have you in Truro.”

From Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7 visitors to the new ship can pick up an Original Glazed Dozen for just £9.95 when joining Krispy Kreme Rewards.

For those who can't wait to get their hands on a freshly made doughnut, Click & Collect is now available via the Krispy Kreme website.
