Kyle Walker and wife Annie Kilner 'look tense' at Coleen and Wayne Rooney's mansion party

Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner appeared 'tense' at a recent mansion party hosted by Coleen and Wayne Rooney, according to reports.

The Manchester City star, 33, and his wife, 31, who recently welcomed their fourth child together, are said to have seemed somewhat 'frosty' at the event.

This comes shortly after Kyle revealed he had fathered a second child with Lauryn Goodman, reports the Mirror.

An insider shared some insights about the couple's dynamics post-scandal, stating: "Annie has allowed Kyle back into the family home so of course they are doing things as a family again."

However, they added that it wasn't all smooth sailing and there was clearly still a bit of tension.

The Sun reported that while everyone was letting their hair down and having a laugh, it was obvious Kyle is still in the dog house. They weren't particularly affectionate, but it's a step in the right direction for them as a couple.

A friend of Annie and Kyle told the Mirror: "The children enjoyed playing football with several other footballers' kids and online gamers whilst Kyle and Annie spent time with friends. They are working through their differences but, understandably, there are of course issues. Spending time with friends is helping them get back to normality and overall they all had a great day."

The Rooneys reportedly hosted friends, including commentator Darren Fletcher, Middlesbrough coach Michael Carrick, Everton's Jordan Pickford and former Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce at their £20million mansion.

They also welcomed members of Girth N Turf FC, one of the virtual EA Sports FC 24 Pro Clubs.

Kyle has now been allowed back into his marital home by Annie after being ousted four months ago.

The footballer was shown the door by the mother-of-four following revelations that he had fathered a second child with reality star Lauryn.

Annie was heavily pregnant with their fourth child when she discovered her husband's infidelity.

The defender was instructed to vacate the family residence in Prestbury, Cheshire before he allegedly relocated to a nearby house, shelling out £20,000 per month in rent as the couple deliberated over their marriage - according to the MailOnline.

Despite Annie declaring in January that she needed "some time away" from her marriage, it is now reported that she and Kyle are looking ahead and "forgiving his past actions", just weeks after adding another member to their family.

A source revealed to the outlet: "Kyle is now living back with Annie and the kids as they try and put their difficulties behind them and get their marriage back on track. She needs a lot of help around the house and a lot of emotional support. Kyle's very happy that he's back in the family home, but things are still very strained between them."
