Kym Marsh in 'don't-you-know-who-I-am' meltdown at swanky hotel

Eek, it sounds like Kym Marsh may have had one too many at the National Television Awards last month, with the actress reportedly having a complete meltdown in the lobby of a swanky London hotel after staff failed to recognise her.

Cringe.

Onlookers were apparently stunned to see Kym throw a strop at the InterContinental hotel after the fancy do, admitting that she seemed “really angry”.

Speaking about the incident, a source told The Sun: “Kym had come back from the National Television Awards and gone out for a cigarette.

“But when she got back to her room the key wouldn’t work. Staff wouldn’t let her in the room without ID but she didn’t have any on her.

“She was pretty unimpressed, to say the least, and caused a bit of a scene. At one point she said, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ and seemed really angry.

“She felt that the staff were being unreasonable but they genuinely had no idea who she was.

“Eventually she had to call and get the team from Corrie to rescue her.”

Kym has played Michelle Connor in hit ITV soap Coronation Street since 2006 but first found fame in 2000 after nabbing a spot in Hear’Say through talent show Popstars.

The star has not yet commented on the allegations against her.
