It's looks like we'll be seeing the Lady Gaga-starring A Star Is Born remake much sooner than we first thought.

The movie was originally slated for release on September 28, 2018, but has now been brought forward a whole four months to May 18, 2018.

The remake also stars Bradley Cooper. He plays a down and out actor who discovers Gaga as a struggling artist who's looking to break into the entertainment industry.

Also set to star is Dave Chappelle as Noodles, Cooper's character's oldest friend who started out with him playing in clubs.

This will be the third remake of A Star Is Born, with previous versions starring Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand.

Yesterday (September 22), Gaga unveiled another big project to fans when she released her Netflix documentary Five Foot Two. The documentary gives fans a very intimate look at her life over the past few years.

Ahead of its release, she penned an emotional letter to fans, speaking about the "lonely" and "isolating" nature of fame.

"I found myself witnessing myself in a way I am unable to see on my own," she wrote. "I felt proud, I felt sadness, I felt empowered, I felt vulnerable..."

She added: "It is lonely, it is isolating, and it is very psychologically challenging because fame changes the way you are viewed by people. For me, it feels very unnatural, but complicated because I know it is my destiny to be a performer."
