The Poker Face singer announced on Twitter yesterday that she’ll be taking the reigns at the annual NFL event on February 5 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

But it’s likely that another big announcement will be made soon because halftime headliners commonly share the stage with fellow superstars of their choice.

If Gaga picks Beyoncé, it would be a huge treat for their fans and it won’t be the first time they’ve crossed paths.

True, Queen Bey assisted Coldplay on stage last year and first took on the Super Bowl in 2013, but it’s still likely Gaga will pick somebody that she’s familiar with and the pair have already proved they work amazingly well together.

However, the 30-year-old star recently completed her fifth studio album which she’ll drop in October and it’s widely considered a comeback record for the American Horror Story actress. It features collaborations with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson and her last music offering was a duet LP with the one and only Tony Bennett. So whose to say she won’t bring a man on board?

Gaga has also transformed her image over the past year and ditched the huge theatrical costumes that made her stand out from the crowd and gave her fans their ‘Little Monsters’ nickname.

What it all boils down to is the fact that Lady Gaga is an unpredicatable artist but we have no doubt that whatever she comes up with to fill her Super Bowl slot will epic.

And, we love her new track.
