Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) will host an open day in East Kilbride next week.

LPARC would like to invite residents of Lanarkshire to an open day, kindly being hosted by the National Museum of Rural Life, East Kilbride between noon and 4pm on Wednesday, July 10.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “LPARC has been established for a number of years and is focused on tackling rural crimes and issues in the Lanarkshire Communities.

“We look at how we can impact, educate and work together with our residents to prevent crime and have a positive impact on issues affecting livestock, equestrian issues, fly tipping and fuel, plant, machinery and quad bike thefts.

“Why not come along and see police quad bikes and drone, as well meet our partners in the British Horse Society, NFU Scotland, Neighbourhood Watch and Scottish Land and Estates, all of whom are committed to crime prevention and support on rural issues.”
