L'Arc de Triomphe wrapped in fabric opens to public

The city of Paris on Saturday unveiled a monumental artwork built around an actual monument: the Arc de Triomphe completely wrapped in silver and blue fabric.The installation, entitled "Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped," was conceived by late artist couple Christo and Jeanne-Claude in 1961.Visits will take place for almost three weeks.The monument was supposed to be wrapped last fall, but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
