Las Vegas Festival Life Is Beautiful Sets Inaugural ‘Block Party’ With Justice, Peggy Gou and More Performers

Life Is Beautiful, the Las Vegas-based music, art and culture festival, on Tuesday announced its inaugural A Big Beautiful Block Party featuring performances by Justice, Peggy Gou and more.

The event is described as “a thrilling new format and celebration of the culture, ideals and evolution of Downtown Las Vegas.” It aims to be “a unique return to the festival’s roots, offering a more close-knit experience set against the vibrant backdrop of the city’s downtown heart.”

LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, Jungle, James Blake, Thundercat, Toro y Moi, Badbadnotgood, Neil Frances, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, John Talabot and Fifi also are set to take the stage at the two-day event, set to take place Sept. 27-28.

Organizers said that Downtown Las Vegas will be transformed into a “massive dance party,” with nonstop music from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. each day. The festival eliminates overlapping sets, with the aim of allowing attendees to full enjoy the music.

This year, Life Is Beautiful has partnered with Headcount, working together to register voters ahead of November’s election.

The event, celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, was launched as part of the major revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas in 2013. Organizers say it’s contributed more than $450 million of economic impact and cultural capital to the area.

Tickets for the festival go on sale on at 10 a.m. PT on Thursday at LifeisBeautiful.com. General admission passes start at $199, and VIP passes start at $399.

Life Is Beautiful was acquired by The Hollywood Reporter’s parent company, Penske Media Corporation, and Rolling Stone in 2023.
