A strip club in Las Vegas is actively targeting high school graduates in a new recruitment drive, telling applicants it is the perfect way to pay for university.

Little Darlings strip club in Vegas has recently emblazoned billboards in the city with its adverts.

One reads: “Now auditioning the class of 2015”, while another says: “Pay your way through college”.

In one advert, a woman is pictured in a school uniform displaying her cleavage while holding a stack of books.

It was the last day of the year for many high schools in the area last week and thousands of pupils will be graduating over the next fortnight.

On its website, Little Darlings Vegas says it is “the largest 18+ fully-nude strip club in the US”. The brand also has clubs in a number of other US cities, including San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle.

On its “auditions” section of its website, the club states: “It’s never too late to step up in the world”.

It says “18+ entertainers” do not require any experience and can “start tonight”.

“It fits in with Vegas. Vegas is always going to be Vegas,” said Little Darlings manager Rick Marzullo.

“This is an open door for young women 18 years old and up to come and make some good money. We all know the economy isn't that great, it's hard to find jobs sometimes.”

Marzullo told KVVU-TV that strippers at the club can make up to $1,000 per night, and that it is a good way to pay for college tuition fees.

However, some locals have questioned the morality of the new advertising campaign, saying it is unethical to target teenage girls straight out of school.
