A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton is taking 'serious' action after learning of a scam social media account using her identity.
The 40-year-old TV presenter and mother-of-two — who announced in January she was separating from her husband Alex Goward — warned of an imposter using a fake Instagram account to contact people pretending to be her.
Hamilton told her 158k followers: "You will see from my Instagram, my official Instagram I might add, that I am being informed again that there is still somebody who has got a fake Instagram account and is contacting people on my behalf and it’s not me.
“It's actually getting quite serious now so it’s going to be reported to the police.
“This is my genuine Instagram and I am on holiday trying to celebrate my friend’s birthday.

“But I just wanted to reiterate in this story that there is only one Instagram account that is me and it’s this one. So if you get any messages from anyone else please ignore, delete and block.
“As I said, it’s getting quite serious now and I am going to have to get the police involved.”
She added: "What is wrong with people? This makes me so upset!"
The TV star — who regularly travels for the Channel 4 property show — was posting from Turkey where she is on holiday with friends.
Hamilton — who has been a presenter on A Place In The Sun since 2012 — has been documenting the renovation of her new family home on social media.
She shares son Rocco, eight and six-year-old daughter Tahlia with broker Goward.
They also share a business in the form of a cafe in south London.
Announcing their split on Instagram in January she said: "This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated. Our children are and always will be our number one priority."
