Lauren Goodger has late baby girl's ashes made into tattoo tribute

Lauren Goodger has revealed a tattoo tribute to her late daughter Lorena, using her ashes.

The Only Way Is Essex star announced on Instagram last month that her second daughter Lorena had died just two days after she was born, following a pregnancy and birth with no complications.

Goodger, 35, has now unveiled a tattoo - believed to be on her forearm - of Lorena's name and the outline of a butterfly, which was made using her ashes.

The reality star revealed on her Instagram stories: "So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes. It's something special. Her ashes are now tattooed in me forever."

Goodger added: "Every day I go through my list of things I have to do either for my babies, my home, my future, my Larose and my baby. This was one on my list that was on my mind every day and I'm so glad it's [ticked]."

Goodger welcomed her first daughter, Larose, in July 2021.

In January 2022 she announced that she had separated from boyfriend Charles Drury after becoming pregnant with their second child together, but had said they planned to co-parent together.

Builder Drury, 25, was arrested and bailed following an alleged assault on the day of Larose's funeral.

Goodger announced the tragic death of her daughter saying: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.

"I am broken I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

The TOWIE star recently attended the funeral of ex-boyfriend Jake McLean.

The 33-year-old was killed in a car crash in the port city of Bodrum, Turkey in July, which left fellow TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou seriously injured.

His funeral took place at St Thomas of Canterbury church in Grays, Essex on Wednesday 16 August, attended by many of the TOWIE cast.

Goodger - who dated McLean between 2012 and 2016 - was among the mourners at the funeral, along with Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell and James 'Arg' Argent.
