In honor of son Nikko's college graduation, the helicopter pilot and Emmy-winning journalist honored him with special Instagram post on Thursday, May 9.

“Really emotional day for me. My firstborn graduated from college today!” Sánchez, 54, wrote alongside a series of throwback photos. “My heart is overflowing with pride for this incredible young man. It seems like yesterday your dad and I were carrying you in our arms.”

“I just want you to know how immensely proud I am of you for achieving this milestone,” she added. “This is just the beginning, Nikko, and I hope you continue chasing your dreams with relentless originality. I love you so much.”

In January, Nikko made his runway debut, and his mom had a front-row seat when he graced the catwalk.

“Just a proud mama,” she captioned an Instagram video. “It was such a gift to watch my son @nikkogzz walking the runway for @dolcegabbana in Milan. Congrats, my love.”

Sánchez's latest social media tribute comes just days after she and fiancé Jeff Bezos made their Met Gala debut.

In honor of the occasion, she donned an Oscar de la Renta gown with a floral, "shattered glass"-inspired skirt, Vogue reported, noting that the outfit was partially inspired Louis Comfort Tiffany’s iconic glasswork.

"It's not just a dress," she told the outlet. "It is really a piece of art."
