Lava Flows From Iceland Volcano Almost Two Weeks After First Eruption

Iceland’s Fagradalsfjall volcano continued to spew lava on March 31 and April 1, almost two weeks after its first eruption in hundreds of years.

This footage, taken by Elizabeth Deane on March 31, shows the volcanic activity on the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Iceland Monitor reported “tens of thousands” of people have visited the site since the eruption on March 19. Credit: Elizabeth Deane via Storyful
