Lee Collins Stands Trial Over Harassment

Comedian Justin Lee Collins is to stand trial for allegedly harassing his former girlfriend.

The 37-year-old Bristol-born presenter denies putting ex-partner Anna Larke in "fear of violence" between January and July last year.

Appearing at St Albans Crown Court, Collins spoke only to confirm his name and plead not guilty to a charge of harassment.

He was granted bail on condition he does not contact Ms Larke or her family.

The case will go to trial on September 24.

Collins, who hosted the Friday Night Project with Alan Carr, is currently starring in West End show Rock of Ages.

He split from wife of seven years, Karen, in 2010. They have a seven-year-old boy, Archie, together.
