Leeds United TV fixtures confirmed as Sky Sports make Championship selections

Leeds United will feature four times on TV in the opening two months of the season. After it was confirmed their opening-weekend game against Porsmouth would be broadcast live, along with every Championship fixture, Sky Sports have now revealed their schedule for the rest of August and September.

Daniel Farke's men will feature a further three times before the end of September, including the return of a Friday night fixture. Leeds were popular picks last season, but the Friday evening slot did often not go down too well with the United head coach.

Leeds' match against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns will now kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday, August 17, while the home match against promotion rivals Burnley will also be a 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday, September 14, on Sky Sports+.

The Whites will now travel to Hillsborough to face Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Friday, August 23, with that game getting under way at 8pm.

Each EFL club will feature a minimum of three times in total up until the end of September, as part of the new broadcast deal. The EFL will announce all league TV fixtures up until early January before the season gets under way.
