Leicester City have added another friendly to their pre-season preparations after it was confirmed they take on Ligue 1 side RC Lens in a pre-season clash.

The Foxes will travel to France on August 10 (3pm) in what will be the final warm-up ahead of the new Premier League campaign for Steve Cooper’s team.

Lens will provide good opposition for the Foxes after the finished seventh in Ligue One last season and were also involved in the Champions League last season.

In the 2022/23 season they finished second behind PSG and it will be a good opportunity for the Foxes to be put through their paces ahead of the new season.

It will be the final time that Leicester fans get the chance to watch their team in friendly action as they prepare for the visit of Ange Postecoglou's Spurs on August 19.

Ticket details, as well as how to follow the action on LCFC channels, will be confirmed on the club's website. The Foxes have also confirmed they will travel to face League One Shrewsbury Town as part of their pre-season preparations as excitement builds ahead of Cooper's first season in charge.
