Yunus Akgun has been handed a rare start on the wing for Leicester City as Enzo Maresca makes just two changes to his team to face Millwall.

Despite promising rotation, Maresca has only swapped around two players, with Yunus coming in for Abdul Fatawu and Jamie Vardy captaining the side up front in place of Patson Daka. Yunus set up the winner against Birmingham on Saturday after coming on as a substitute on the right flank, and starts there at Millwall.

Most of the Turk’s starts for City this season have been as an attacking midfielder, with Maresca deciding he was more suited to the role there than out wide. But he will play on the right of the front three at the Den.

He will flank Vardy, who replaces Daka up front having been used as a substitute in the past two wins. Maresca said he would have to rotate his team with this the second of three games in seven days, but otherwise, the 11 is the same as the one that faced Birmingham.

That means that Callum Doyle again starts at left-back, despite being replaced by James Justin at half-time at the weekend. Ricardo Pereira and Wilfred Ndidi keep their places too, despite only recently returning from long injuries.

City (4-3-3): Hermansen; Ricardo, Faes, Vestergaard, Doyle; Winks, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall; Yunus, Vardy, Mavididi. Subs: Stolarczyk, Coady, Justin, Choudhury, Praet, Albrighton, Fatawu, Iheanacho, Daka.
