5. DUPONT SURFING

STORY: Kai Lenny and Justine Dupont were named the winners of The Big Wave Awards Overall Performance of the Year on Monday (August 10).

Lenny of the U.S. was the men's winner while the women's trophy went to Frenchwoman Dupont.

The Overall Performer of the Year Awards acknowledges the top-performing male and female surfers over the course of the last 12 months based on every ride captured on video or still image.
