Liverpool transfer target Leny Yoro has reportedly informed Lille that he doesn't want a move to the Premier League the summer after a €50m (£42.3m) bid was made for the defender.

The youngster has emerged as one of the most-talented teenagers in world football after his breakthrough season in Ligue 1. Yoro was 17 when the season kicked off and he went on to start 30 league games.

Now 18, Yoro is wanted by a series of top clubs around Europe. Liverpool and Real Madrid have both been heavily linked since the 2023/24 campaign ended with him now in the final year of his current deal in France.

Real Madrid are understood to be leading the chase for the centre-back with the Champions League winners moving into pole position to sign the teenager.

According to the Express, the Santiago Bernabeu would be Yoro's dream destination this summer and a move to England isn't favourable in his camp. However, Lille and Los Blancos are yet to agree on a fee.

The report also states that the French side have already received a £42.3m offer for Yoro this summer from an unnamed Premier League side. As well as the Reds, Manchester United are 'pushing hard' to sign Yoro.

Erik ten Hag has set out to replace Raphael Varane at Old Trafford this summer. Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite has been earmarked as their priority with Yoro a potential alternative.
