Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt shut down Cannes with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio took to the red carpet tonight for the premiere of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood - the most anticipated event of the Cannes Film Festival.

Quentin Tarantino's film has already spawned the hashtag #NoSpoilersInHollywood - so don't expect to find out what happens before venturing to the cinema yourself.

The film is said to follow a failed TV actor and his stunt double as they try to find fame in 1969 LA. There's also a Charles Manson plot with Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate and Dakota Fanning as Squeaky Fromme. Al Pacino and Leonardo DiCaprio (who is currently dating Al Pacino's stepdaughter, Camila Morrone, who stunned at the premiere) are in the film along with Brad Pitt, Timothy Olyphant, and the late Luke Perry.

Unsurprisingly, A-listers turned out in droves for the big time premiere, including Brad and Leo, who wore matching tuxes.

Elle Fanning might have cemented her place as a Cannes star but she still has some competition from her sister, Dakota. She appeared wearing a white gown with a gold sash and a matching diamond necklace. Elle looked equally chic, wearing a sheer white blouse with a pussy bow and a dramatic black hat, channeling Audrey Hepburn's classic Hollywood ensembles.

Model Winnie Harlow stunned in red ruffles with a matching veil, proving that Cannes is the perfect destination for over the top glamour.

The film is set to open in cinemas on August 14.
