In the last few years, we've been Elvis obsessed. From Austin Butler's iconic role as the King of rock 'n' roll, to Sofia Coppola telling the story of Elvis' wife in new movie Priscilla, to Elvis' granddaughter Riley Keough taking centre stage in the Prime Video series Daisy Jones and The Six. And as well as taking over our screens, the family has also been fairly present in the news following the death of Elvis' daughter Lisa Marie Presley and the alleged feud between Riley and her grandmother Priscilla.
But what actually is this alleged rift? And how are all the members of Elvis' famous family connected? Here's every member of the Presley family you need to know about and their complicated family history.

How is she related to Elvis?: Ex-wife
Priscilla, then Priscilla Ann Wagner, met Elvis, when she was 14 years old while living in Germany. After Priscilla's father died when she was just three years in 1948, her mother married U.S. Air Force officer Paul Beaulieu. Due to Paul's job the family often moved around and the family were stationed in Germany when Elvis and Priscilla met in 1959.
Eight years later the couple married in 1967 and their daughter Lisa Marie Presley was born a year later. In 1972 the couple were separated and shortly divorced.
After their divorce Priscilla went onto have a number of relationships, including dating Robert Kardashian (yes Kim's dad). Priscilla's longest relationship since her divorce from Elvis was with Marco Antonio Garcia, the couple were together for 22 years. They share one son together Navarone Garibaldi, who was born in 1987 and is part of the band Them Guns.
Over the years Priscilla has acted in numerous projects including the soap Dallas and the film series Naked Gun. In 1986 she released her memoir Elvis and Me.

How is she related to Elvis?: Daughter
Lisa Marie Presley is the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was born in 1968 in Tennessee and moved to Los Angeles with her mother Priscilla, following her parents' divorce. Until her father's death in 1977 she split her time between both her parents.
Lisa Marie followed in her dad's footsteps and began a music career in 2003, when she released her debut album To Whom It May Concern. Over the course of her career she went onto release two more studio albums.
In 1988 Lisa Marie married musician Danny Keough in a ceremony at the Scientology Celebrity Centre. The couple had two children Riley Keough in 1989 and Benjamin Storm Keough in 1992. In 2020 Benjamin sadly died by suicide.
After six years of marriage Lisa Marie and Danny divorced in 1994 and shortly after Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson. In 1996, Lisa Marie filed for divorce from Jackson.
In 1999 Lisa Marie was engaged to musician John Oszajca, however she ended their engagement in 2001 after meeting Nicholas Cage. Lisa Marie and Nicholas were married for a few months in 2002, before Nicholas filed for divorce.
Lisa Marie's fourth marriage was to Michael Lockwood, who was her guitarist. The couple married in 2006 and in 2008 Lisa Marie gave birth to the couple's twin daughters. She filed for divorce in 2016 and the divorce became finalised in 2021.
On 25th January 2023, Lisa Marie died after suffering from cardiac arrest.

How is he related to Elvis?: Former son-in-law
Danny Keough was Lisa Marie's first husband and the couple got married in 1998 and had two children together Riley Keough and Benjamin Storm Keough.
The couple divorced in 1994, but remained extremely close, with Danny becoming a bassist for Riley during her music career. He was also the best man at her wedding to Michael Lockwood and they were reportedly said to be living together at the time of Lisa Marie's death, according to a report in In Touch Weekly.

How is she related to Elvis?: Granddaughter
Riley Keough is the eldest grandchild of Elvis Presley and was born in 1989 to Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough.
Riley began a very successful acting career with her debut role in the film The Runaways. Since then she's appeared in Magic Mike, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Devil All The Time and of course her iconic role as Daisy in Prime Video's Daisy Jones and The Six, amongst many other projects.
Over the years Riley has dated singer Ryan Cabrera and at one point was engaged to Alex Pettyfer.
In February 2015 she tied the knot with Australian stuntman Ben Smith-Petersen, after they met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road. In 2022 they welcomed their first child, a daughter, born, via surrogate.
What happened between Riley and Priscilla?
Ok, so if you've been paying attention to the news in the last year, you may have noticed there was an alleged feud between Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley. So what is this drama about?
Well it all begins with Graceland. Graceland is the name of Elvis' estate which has since been turned into a tourist attraction.
When Elvis died in 1977, nine-year-old Lisa Marie, along with Elvis' father and grandmother were named the heir of Graceland. However, as she was only nine, her mother Priscilla was in charge of the estate on Lisa Marie's behalf. When Lisa Marie turned 25 years old she inherited the estate, and both her father's father and grandmother had passed away at this point.
In 2016, Lisa Marie filed for divorce from her fourth husband Michael Lockwood, whom she shared her twin daughters Harper and Finley with. During her divorce preceedings she also made an amendment in her will which removed Priscilla and Barry Siegel (Priscilla's former manager) as the co-trustees, and added Riley and her brother Benjamin as the trustees.
Two weeks after Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla challenged this 2016 amendment, which now had Riley as the sole trustee following her brother's death in 2020. Priscilla filed a petition which questioned the "authenticity and validity" of Lisa Marie's will. She argued the petition had misspelt her name and there was an unusual signature on the will. Priscilla also claimed she had only learnt of this change to the will after her daughter's death.
At the time of the legal filing, Priscilla and Riley were said to not be on speaking terms, with a source telling ET, "Riley and Priscilla aren't communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers."
In June last year Riley then filed a 73-page petition in support of her appointment to head the family trust, as per Deadline.
Two months later in August 2023, a Los Angeles judge officially approved Riley as the sole trustee of her mother's estate, meaning Riley is the official owner of Graceland.
Since then Priscilla and Riley appear to be on better terms and attended the 2024 Emmy Awards together arm in arm.
