Liverpool FC has issued an important update on Taylor Swift tickets before her gigs at Anfield.

Tickets for her three performances this month - on June 14, 15 and 16 - could either be purchased through LFC or Ticketmaster. While those going to the concerts have had confirmation of their purchase, the actual tickets have not been sent out to them yet.

As the city gears up for her arrival with a whole Taylor Trial of artwork and themed events, LFC has told Swities when and how they will be receiving their tickets.

In an email sent out yesterday evening, it provided a ‘handy checklist’ of what attendees need to know. Below is a breakdown of how you will receive your tickets through LFC and Ticketmaster.

LFC tickets

Ticket holders will receive their tickets via email approximately seven days before the concerts. The club has asked people not to travel to Anfield unless they have a ticket for the gig.

The tickets will state a time when you should enter Anfield. Those who arrive early will be asked to leave and return at your designated time slot. Ticket holders will also be given a designated entry point to enter the stadium.

The tickets will be digital and sent out to the email address linked to the account which you purchased tickets with. You should download the ticket to your phone from the email using the Google Pay or Apple Wallet icons, depending on which device you have.

If you are collecting tickets from the Ticket Office at Anfield, including hospitality tickets, you are advised to bring photo ID in the form of a passport, driving licence or ID card or a household bill showing name and address. The ticket office will be busy so be sure to arrive in plenty of time.

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 years or over. LFC reserves the right to remove any child, who in the opinion of LFC, appears to be under 16 years of age and unaccompanied.

Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster has now removed the "lead booker policy", meaning the person whose name is on the Ticketmaster account used to purchase tickets is no longer required to attend the event.

Your ticket(s) are digital mobile tickets that will be delivered in the lead up to the show to the ticket agent’s app/your account which you will be instructed to download to your smart device. Your ticket purchase constitutes a personal, revocable licence and, at all times, remains the property of the event organisers.

Each ticket holder must be in possession of their ticket on their smart device. You will need to use a mobile smartphone to access tickets. It is likely tickets will also be sent out around seven days before the concerts too.
