Liam Gallagher opens up on awards ceremony fight with Idris Elba over bobble hat
Liam Gallagher has claimed he and Idris Elba have buried the hatchet following their row at an awards ceremony several years ago.
The Don't Look Back In Anger singer got into a tussle with the Luther star at the 2013 NME Awards, when he snatched the actor's bobble hat.
Gallagher, 49, told LADBible: "I had a row and I was like - I didn't even know who it was, everyone was going, 'Do you know who that is?' I was like 'no'.
"F***ing idiot messing me hair up and then I went over grabbed his bobble hat and booted it down the f***ing... And then it all got a bit naughty and all that.

"But I think we've apologised since then and all that tackle and it was the drunken thing, but it is what it is.
"Don't f***ing mess with people's haircut and then they won't boot your f***ing bobble hat down the road."
But the Oasis frontman said he thinks he could do a better job of playing James Bond than the Avengers: Infinity War star.
Gallagher said of who could be the new 007: "I'd be better than f***ing Idris Elba."
There were reports the two had clashed backstage at the 2013 music awards ceremony.
Elba, 49, later admitted he and the Wonderwall singer had an 'exchange of words' at the event.
He said: "It got blown out of proportion, but we kept our hats on, so to speak. It was a good hat, man. I guess he just took against it. He must have thought it looked silly, because he tried to grab it."
Gallagher had claimed: "I didn’t steal Idris’s hat, or grab it. I don’t go grabbing anyone. He messed my f***ing hair up, so I pulled his hat off and booted it across the room, and that’s it.”

The pair were then both guests on The Graham Norton Show in 2017, where they shook hands.
Gallagher said afterwards: "I don't hold grudges, me.
"I'd had too much to drink at that awards night and I didn't know who he was... the I seen him on that TV show and he was cool, we shook hands.
"He didn't really apologise though, I was just winding him up."
