Yahoo News Liam Neeson is in line for the new Men in Black spinoff
The cast list for the upcoming Men in Black spinoff was already looking pretty A-list, and it's now planning to add Liam Neeson to its billing.
The action star is reportedly in talks to join Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in the movie, which will pick up after the events of the original Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith trilogy (although Jones and Smith aren't expected to show up).
Neeson is to play the head of Men in Black organisation in London, where the film starts off, Variety reports. Rip Torn was the head of the US division in the first films.

Although Hemsworth and Thompson's characters won't be the same alien-fighting heroes portrayed by Jones and Smith, the spinoff is set in the same world and will follow a plot handling the invasion of aliens on a global scale based around a younger generation of Agents.
The as-yet-untitled movie will be directed by the renowned F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious) from a script by Iron Man's Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Steven Spielberg is also an executive producer.
Neeson was most recently seen in Jaume Collet-Serra's thriller The Commuter and will soon star in Steve McQueen's crime drama Widows.
Men in Black is currently slated to open in US and UK cinemas on June 14, 2019.
