Lido now open seven days a week for summer season

A lido is now open seven days a week for the summer season.

Saltdean Lido, in Saltdean Park Road, is welcoming swimmers seven days a week until September 12.

It will be open from 7am until 7pm everyday except Friday when it closes at 6pm.

A spokesman for Saltdean Lido said: "The unique crescent shaped pool at Saltdean Lido is a stunning, heated facility that combines fun, family, fitness and heritage.

"The 40m outdoor heated pool sits alongside a lovely grassed area for relaxing and sunbathing and is also used for so much more, from saunas and yoga to music evenings and our famous annual dog swim.

"This Grade II* iconic setting also comprises a children’s splash pool and changing rooms and warm showers.

"All visitors including serious swimmers, people with disabilities, leisure seekers and families are catered for, with private hire also available."
