Lincoln Castle Euros fan zone returns as concert series comes to an end

Lincoln Castle will play host to a major fan zone for the remainder of the European Championship, once the venue's concerts come to an end this weekend. The grounds of the castle will open up for England's potential quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, as fans hope the Three Lions can make it all the way to the big match on Sunday, July 14.

The castle is currently the venue for the 'Live at Lincoln' series of concerts, which has seen Crowded House, Jess Glynne and Paloma Faith headline already. Over this weekend the castle will play host to the Kaiser Chiefs, Madness and Gregory Porter.

Despite a slow, dull start to their Euro 2024 campaign, England now find themselves on the favourable side of the draw, with a run to the final very much a real possibility for Gareth Southgate's men. Should they make it past Slovakia this weekend, England fans will be able to follow the rest of the journey on a giant screen, surrounded by 4,000 fellow supporters.
