As the hot weather continues this week, Lincoln is set to reach temperatures higher than Majorca. On Tuesday, June 25, there will be constant sunshine from 5am until 9pm in Lincoln, with a top temperature of 27C being reached according to the Met Office.

This means the city will be hotter than Majorca, Spain, which will reach 26C on Tuesday and much warmer than Lisbon, Portugal, which will have a peak temperature of 23C. Lincoln will also be just as hot as Rome, Italy, which will also reach 27C, however the historic capital will have light rain across most of the afternoon.

Lincoln will be at its hottest from 12pm until 5pm, with temperatures above 25C. Whilst the hot weather can be great, it's important to drink plenty of fluids, limit strenuous activity, dress appropriately and stay in the shade.

The city will also reach highs of 24C on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27, as well as 21C on Sunday, June 30.
