Nolan – whose younger sister is Loose Women star Coleen Nolan – was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2017, after first having the disease in 2005.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain in March, she told fans that the cancer has spread to her brain but that she planned to remain positive.
“That's obviously frightening because there isn't much treatment for brain cancer except for radiotherapy which I'm going to be having,” she said.
"I'm not giving up. I'm positive.”
Nolan found fame as part of the singing group The Nolan Sisters (the group later became The Nolans) alongside her sisters Anne, Coleen, Denise, Maureen and Bernie.
Their hits included 1979 release I'm In The Mood For Dancing.
