Lisa Armstrong ‘suspected Ant McPartlin was dating PA Anne-Marie Corbett months ago after spotting pictures of him with packed lunch’

Lisa Armstrong reportedly suspected that Ant McPartlin was dating his PA Anne-Marie Corbett months before their relationship was revealed.

The make-up artist is thought to have grown suspicious that the pair had started a romantic relationship when she saw pictures of the TV presenter carrying a packed lunch, apparently prepared by the PA, back in March.

Corbett was pictured putting the rubbish out at McPartlin’s house that same day, sparking speculation that they were in a relationship.

Armstrong then reportedly reached out to Corbett’s ex-husband Scott to see if he knew what was going on between the pair.

“It was a niggling feeling at the back of Lisa’s mind. She reached out to Scott to try and get answers,” a source told The Mirror.

“When the news came out, it all clicked into place. She was heartbroken.”

Armstrong, who is currently still married to the TV presenter, posted a string of tweets on Sunday night as she revealed she had not been informed about her husband’s new relationship before the news broke.

Responding to a Twitter follower who had said she “hoped he didn’t let you find out from the media”, Armstrong replied: “Nope. Just how you guys did.”

She went on to accuse the PA, who used to work for her, of breaking “girl code” in a series of posts on Twitter.

The make-up artist then replied to another tweet to say that Corbett was her friend and the couple's PA, adding that she let her "into our home".

McPartlin and Armstrong announced their split in January, but are thought to have been separated for 10 months.

In March this year, the Britain’s Got Talent host was arrested for drink-driving following a collision in south London.
