The soap star initially took a break from the show after her grandmother died earlier this year.
But this week Riley updated fans on when they can see Mandy Dingle back on screen.

When one fan asked when Mandy would be returning to the Yorkshire-set soap to which she replied: "Middle of July."
Riley had previously said that she no longer wanted to get married after her mother died in 2012. She has been engaged to her partner Al since 2018.
She said in February of a potential wedding: "There would be an empty seat and I wonder how I would cope," and that it would be too "painful" to set a date.
Despite the hesitancy to walk down the aisle, Riley revealed that life is already "great" with her fiancé: "I already call him my husband and he calls me his wife. We just haven't gone down the aisle and got the ring and the paperwork."
Following the death of her grandmother Riley paid tribute on social media, writing: "Today, we know, will be the toughest day, we lean on each other, you are now at peace, yet we are all craving your energy around the house. God has gained another Angel. May you light up heaven with your warmth and your infectious smile. I will be trying to be strong for the both of us."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
