Yahoo News Little Mix hailed ‘queens’ as they strip off to slam bullies over ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ jibes
Little Mix have stripped off to beat the bullies and promote body positivity ahead of their new song, Strip.
The track, which features the lyric “Jiggle all this weight, yeah you know I love all of this,” drops on Friday with the release of their new album LM5.
Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock teamed up with acclaimed photographer Rankin to pose naked with messages from critics scrawled over them in black writing.
Words include “ugly,” “fat,” “slutty,” and “talentless”.

Strip saw the girls’ team up with a handful of inspiring women for the music video in a bid to empower people to be who they are. A teaser for the black and white short sees the girls “jiggling” each other’s bottoms and dancing with women of all shapes and sizes.
Fans hailed the girls “queens” as they reached out to thank the group for giving them confidence and kicked off the hashtag “#StripWithLittleMix”.
The group said they had been left “moved” by the response to their snap with Rankin, tweeting: “Sharing your insecurities with what you love about yourselves is beautiful to see and be a part of. We need more of this & can’t believe the response already from ONE photo. We [love] you. The girls x.”
Speaking previously about the record, Nelson said their mission is to instil body confidence in their fans.
“I never thought I would get over thinking people thought certain things about me, she told ASOS magazine. “I still get upset when I talk about it.
“I'll never get those years back. I was so miserable, I should have been enjoying my f****** life. This is why we feel so passionate about what we're saying on this album.
“The more we talk about it, the better it will be for kids growing up. We want people to know they're not alone.”
Edwards added: “Things like Instagram or magazine covers are a tiny percentage of a lifestyle that people want you to see, it's never the whole picture. I think now more than ever the world needs an album like LM5.
“We're gonna keep f****** preaching until it sinks in – we want to empower women and ourselves.”
