ICYMI, Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson and Rixton’s Jake Roche got engaged last night and if we’re honest, we’ve been a whole concotion of emotions ever since.

As excited as we were to hear about the proposal itself, which gave us actual life goals since ED RUDDY SHEERAN SUNG FOR THEM AS JAKE GOT DOWN ON ONE KNEE, we’ve also been pretty keen to see the piece of bling the Rixton singer picked out.
And boy oh boy, he’s got a better taste for shiny things that your average magpie. Well done, mate.
Jesy, 24, showed her new, diamond-encrusted sparkling ring as she took to the stage with her Little Mix gals at Key 103 Summer Live Concert.

Performing on stage with three of your best mates just after popping a ring on your finger isn’t exactly a bad way to celebrate, with Jesy beaming with happiness as the girls took to the red carpet looking all kinds of bodacious.

Jake, 22, got down on one knee to pop the question at Manchester Arena where the two first met.
Sharing a photo of THAT moment, which involved Ed casually playing a little ditty in the background (WE STILL CAN’T) on Instagram, Jake wrote: “A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened.
“Best day of my life.”

Jesy also shared an emotional message on Little Mix’s Instagram, saying: “I cannot believe what has just happened! The most surreal moment of my life and everyone that I love most was there to share it with us!
“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world rite now literally cannot stop crying! Future Mrs Roche [sic],” finished with a heart emoji.

Talking to Key 103 about the big surprise proposal, she revealed: “To be honest, it was all a bit of a blur. I thought we’d finished sound check and then long and behold, old Ed [Sheeran] walks on.
"I had my back turned to him and the girls were like, ‘Jess, Jess’ and then I turned around and he sang mine and Jake’s song, 'Tenerife Sea’. And as soon as he sang that, I just balled.”
“It was all a bit of a blur to be honest, I couldn’t take it all in, it was amazing. We’ve spoken about [marriage] but I never thought that it was going to happen, not today! It sounds so strange but it felt like the feeling of when we won The X Factor.”
