Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson and Stefan Bajcetic have returned to training.

Liverpool have been hit hard by injuries this season with Klopp's team forced to field several youngsters in recent months after being without a number of first-team players. Injuries have not had a significant effect on results however, with the Reds still going strong in the Premier League and Europa League.

And ahead of Thursday's European quarter-final first leg against Italian Serie A side Atalanta, the Reds could be about to welcome several players back. The news will also be a significant boost to their title charge with Klopp's side level on points with league leaders Arsenal and a point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City.

The Liverpool manager has confirmed that Jota, Trent, Alisson and Bajcetic are in line to return ahead of a busy end to the campaign. However, he urged caution about them being fit for the game on Thursday.

"We'll have to see that [if Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, Stefan Bajcetic will play]. We didn't rush it with the boys," he said

"Diogo and Trent worked as a group for two or three weeks and could do proper training. They looked very good yesterday. Stefan is different a little bit because he was out for much longer. It might make sense to give him a game for the U21s. Alisson is on his way back as well. They are now back in training and now we'll see how we involve them."
