Liverpool suffer fresh injury blow as Conor Bradley forced off against Crystal Palace

Conor Bradley has become the latest Liverpool casualty after hobbling off against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Northern Ireland defender was forced off for Trent Alexander-Arnold after hurting himself in a tangle with Eberechi Eze early into the second half at Anfield with the Reds trailing 1-0 to Palace winger's goal.

Bradley was quickly checked over by the physios on the pitch but looked in some discomfort after he was helped off the pitch before he was replaced by Alexander-Arnold, who was making his first appearance in over two months for Klopp's side.

The injury means Bradley, who has shone in the absence of the more senior Alexander-Arnold, is a major doubt for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final second leg with Atalanta, with Klopp's men looking to overturn a three-goal deficit from the first leg earlier this week.

Liverpool have been given a spate of positive injury boosts in recent days with the returns of Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker, Curtis Jones, Stefan Bajcetic and Alexander-Arnold but the absence of Bradley adds to a list that sees Klopp also unable to select long-term absentees Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara or Ben Doak.

Klopp is expected to deliver an update on Bradley's condition at full time and will likely be set for a scan on Monday at the club's AXA Training Centre.
