Liverpool are the third favourites to sign Crystal Palace's star defender Marc Guehi this summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea leading the race.

The centre-back has been a standout performer for England in their Euro 2024 campaign, playing a key role in two clean sheets in three group games. Despite the team facing criticism, Guehi has earned praise for his smooth transition to international football.

Given his impressive performances, it's no surprise that clubs are queuing up for his signature in the summer transfer window. Liverpool were linked with an interest in the defender earlier in the year, although his performances on the biggest stage is likely to raise his profile further.

Joel Matip's exit at the expiry of his contract this summer, as well as injury concerns over Ibrahima Konate means that Arne Slot may be looking to strengthen his centre-back options before the start of the new season. Palace are reportedly demanding a minimum of £65 million for Guehi this summer. However, Chelsea face competition from Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham.
