Liverpool are reportedly willing to make an offer for former Everton star Ademola Lookman.

The striker is attracting interest after a successful second season with Atalanta. He helped the team clinch the Europa League trophy by scoring a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the final, inflicting their first defeat of the season.

According to Calcio Mercato, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in his signature. Atalanta consider Lookman a key player, along with the likes of Gianluca Scamacca and De Charles De Ketelaere, but will not say no to 'irrefutable offers.'

The report adds that the Italian outfit have set a price of £51million (€60m) on Lookman, who is under contract for the next two years. It is thought that all three English clubs 'are willing to make an offer' close to £51m. However, with Teun Koopmeiners also attracting interest from elsewhere, Atalanta do not want to lose both players.

Elsewhere, Fabio Carvalho continues to attract interest from the Premier League and from clubs in Germany, France, Spain and Holland. The Daily Mail reports that the interest is not advanced yet, with Liverpool keen to give Carvalho a good look during pre-season.

The Portuguese midfielder impressed on loan at Hull City last season and is determined to prove himself to the new coaching staff moving forward.

When asked by the ECHO if he will be with the Reds for pre-season, he said: "That's the target. The way I see it, it’s a fresh start.

"Not just for me, but obviously whoever comes in. It’ll be a fresh start for me, and for the likes of Tyler [Morton] as well. We’ve just got to take the chances that come. Really grasp it and take it with both hands.

"Ultimately, it’s a fresh start for both of us. We’ll just go back there with nothing to lose and everything to gain."
