Note: contains MAJOR spoilers for Living with Yourself.

Netflix's latest big arrival is Living with Yourself, an eight-episode comedy series starring Paul Rudd as Miles Elliot, a man who pays an extortionate amount of money for a peculiar spa treatment in the hope that it will rejuvenate him and, crucially, improve his life.

It also stars... Paul Rudd as Miles' doppelganger, the alarming result of said treatment, alongside This Way Up's Aisling Bea as his wife, Kate.

As you'd expect, their lives become rather chaotic following the birth of Miles' clone, and things really come to a head when Kate and Miles 2.0 sleep together, which would be dramatic enough in itself without the fact that she falls pregnant.

But whose baby is it?

There's more life in this tale yet, but will it return for a second season?

Here's everything you need to know.

Living with Yourself season 2 release date: When will it air?

Netflix hasn't confirmed whether the show will return for round two, but if it does get the go-ahead, we'll update this page as soon as we know more.

Living with Yourself season 2 cast: Who's in it?

One of the show's biggest selling points is two Paul Rudds for the price of one, so we'd expect to see him back (if his schedule allows) as Miles Elliot / his clone.

The supremely talented Aisling Bea was a welcome addition as Kate, so here's hoping she's up for season two if it does get the thumbs up.

Speaking about her initial impression of her character during an interview with Digital Spy and other press, Bea said: "Because I've been doing this a long time, you really get bored of playing 'the wife' or 'the girlfriend', and being like, 'Are you OK?' and 'Oh no, honey'.

"When I read the first and second script, even though they were great, I was like, 'I don't really…'"

Initially, she wasn't sold on the idea.

But "suddenly it turns around," and her opinion of her character shifted.

She added: "It's not like you need to be, in any way, a lead role, but you need some complexity, or there's something else going on, Your whole character is not just to fulfil – and especially watching consistently for all of our lives, a lot of wife and girlfriend roles who look like their life is dedicated to the moods and fulfilments of [a male character]."

"You're like, 'Someone else can play that. Not for me, thanks'.

"So with this, as soon as it came around... You see what it was, and her whole story. So that, for me, was a thing that I was like, 'Oh my God. Oh, yes please'."

Rudd also echoed that sentiment: "When it got to that episode, I was like, 'OK, here we go. Now it's about human beings. It's not just through one person’s point of view'.

"You're constantly discovering what you think you know, and then you see it from another person's point of view, and it takes on a different meaning. I felt that run throughout the entire show."

He added: "I'd never done anything like it. And that was really appealing."

While that's not confirmation of a second season, he certainly sounds tempted...

Living with Yourself season 2 plot: What will happen?

There is one plot point in particular that desperately needs exploring in future episodes: Kate's pregnancy.

She is expecting a baby but no one knows who the father is, and there's no way of finding out given that Miles and his clone share the same DNA.

There's certainly scope to explore how that parenting dynamic would work if the series returns.

There's also the bond that forms between Miles and his clone, and how that will impact the relationship with his wife.

"I suppose one thing we left on a cliffhanger was...like, part of the reason of them being friends… But then what does that mean for me? What does that mean for our relationship?" said Bea when chatting to Digital Spy.

"So there's all of the repercussions of that."

And could we see a double of Kate thrown into the mix at some point?

"Seven more," she joked. "Great. Who knows?

"I mean, it's written by Tim [Greenberg]. And I think what happens as well with shows is that you listen to what the audience connects with, and what part of the stories they liked, and what part of the stories they don’t really connect with.

"I’m just speaking as a writer from that point of view, but I don’t know if that's how Tim works."

Living with Yourself season 2 trailer: When can I watch it?

First up, we need that all-important renewal.

If it does get the green light, you should expect the trailer to land in the month leading up to the premiere.
