Disgraced YouTuber Logan Paul has surprised fans by confirming his romance with actress Chloe Benett, despite previously dismissing claims that they were dating.

The US vlogger, who faced a global backlash last year when he uploaded a clip of what appeared to be a suicide victim, has posted a gushing tribute to his other half on social media.

Proving that the tides might have turned for the ‘star’, his followers seemed over-the-moon that he had finally found love, despite his very rocky year in the public eye.

“I never thought it was possible but this girl has won my heart,” Paul wrote under a picture of the couple.

In true Logan Paul style, the YouTuber listed the reasons why he “loves” Benett, which seemed to be more about him than her.

“One of the MANY reasons i love Chloe: over the past year she’s experienced ALL my ups & all my downs. and as most of you know... mainly downs,” he wrote.

“BUT. she never turned her back on me, she didn’t publicly shame me, and she didn’t hop on the “I Hate Logan Paul” bandwagon.”

Paul continued: “Instead, she stuck her neck out for me, risked her career and personal friendships, and chose to help me grow as a human being & educate me on how to use my platform more responsibly... WHICHHHH all allowed me to learn from my mistakes, because she saw something special in me.

“And to anyone giving her a hard time, please do not hold Chloe accountable for MY actions in the past; instead recognize her efforts to help me become a better man & do good on this floating rock. That’s a queen right there. My queen. love ya girlfriend sorry for being cheesy AFFF.”

Responding to a tweet about the relationship rumours just last week, Paul tweeted: “Hold on one second now. i haven’t confirmed anything. but. if i had the chance to date this so called “Chloe” girl, i would be an extremely lucky young man.”

Paul was dropped by YouTube on its advertising platform following his suicide forest video, for which he apologised in an interview on Good Morning America.

“Millions of people literally telling me they hate me, to go die in a fire. The most horrible, horrific things. I've never been hated by the whole world,” he said.

“I am a good guy who made a bad decision. This was a horrible lapse of judgment. And I can, will, and am going to learn from it and be a better person.”
