London July weather: BBC Weather forecasts really bleak start to next month

The scorching temperatures are to be short-lived as forecasters at BBC Weather predicts a bleak start to July, which is just four days away. The forecast shows that between Tuesday, July 2, and Tuesday, July 9, it will rain everyday bar two.

This isn’t quite what people will be hoping for, and will be reminiscent of the dreadful start to June we had. However up until then temperatures should hold out, with the BBC forecasting today to reach a blistering 29C.

The rest of the week won’t be quite as hot, but the sun will certainly be making an appearance with tomorrow (June 27), Friday (June 28), and Saturday (June 29) bouncing between 23C and 24C. Sunday (June 30) and Monday (June 1) will both be 22C.

The Met Office also has some key, yet simple advice on how to keep cool during scorching temperatures. It advises people to drink plenty of water, walk in the shade, stay out of the sun between 1am and 3pm, and to avoid physical exertion in the hottest parts of the day.
