Multiple train lines are being affected by cancellations and delays out of London on Friday afternoon.

Trains are being cancelled and delayed between London St Pancras International and Bedford after a signal failure with Thameslink and East Midlands Railway passengers both affected until the end of the day.

Services will run at reduced speed on the line for as long as it takes the problem to sort out, National Rail has said.

In addition, trains running between Corby and St Pancras are likely to be terminated at Kettering. There is a replacement bus service in place between Kettering and Corby in both directions. See the full details here.

Also, an obstruction on the line between Southend Victoria and Billericay has blocked multiple Greater Anglia routes.

This has led to delays out of London Liverpool Street into Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.

However, a congestion issue that led to delayed journeys out of London Waterloo towards Vauxhall has since been resolved.

Earlier on Friday, the Overground had been part suspended due to a signal failure at Richmond but that is now fixed.
