There are extensive planned closures due to hit the Tube this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16). Six Tube lines will be affected, the Hammersmith and City line being completely closed, as well as significant disruptions to the London Overground, Elizabeth line and DLR.

On many routes, passengers will need to take the bus instead. The disruption includes work on the tracks, Network Rail maintenance and even some HS2 works.

Tube travel advice and closures

The Hammersmith and City line will be shut all weekend due to 'track works', TfL said. A special Circle line service will run between High Street Kensington and Barking (via Victoria). Passengers are advised to use alternative Tube, Elizabeth line services or local bus routes.

The Northern line is having major works done at Colindale station, which is due to be closed until December 2024. Use local bus route 204 to/from Burnt Oak station or bus route 186 to/from Hendon Central station for the Northern line. Bus routes 32, 142, 186, 303 and 324 also provide connections to nearby Tube or Thameslink stations.

Fares will also be refunded automatically on bus route 186 between Mill Hill Broadway and Hendon Central stations for relevant journeys. During weekday peak times, additional bus route NL6 will run between Colindale and Hendon Central. Journeys on this route will be free of charge. For more information, visit TfL's travel advice page.

There will also be no service between Edgware and Golders Green due to the Colindale station upgrade. Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes. Passengers near Edgware or Burnt Oak and travelling to/from Central London should use local buses for the Jubilee line. Rail replacement bus service NL1 will run.

The Circle line will also be affected by track works. There will be no service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill. Again, the special Circle line service between High Street Kensington and Barking will make up for the closure. Passengers are again advised to use alternative Tube, Elizabeth line services or local bus routes.

The District line also is subject to track works and there will be no service between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington. Passengers should use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.

The Jubilee line will not stop at Baker Street during Friday Night Tube hours because of track works. Night Tube services will not call at Baker Street between 2.15am and 3.45am on Saturday morning. Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.

The Metropolitan line will have no service between Aldgate and Baker Street on Saturday or Sunday due to track works too. Use alternative Tube services or local bus routes.
