Look At This Adorable Lizard Taking A Nap In A Flower

Reptiles aren’t traditionally known for being adorable but this sleepy lizard can’t fail to make you go, “D’awwww!”

The sleepy reptile had curled up for a snooze in a bright pink rose when Megan Hixson, from Texas, went in for a sniff.

“As long as I live I will probably never see this again,” she said. “My daughter picked me a rose, but we got a surprise when we went to smell it and found a lizard.

“It looked so cosy and peaceful, we couldn’t bear to disturb it.

“It’s certainly an interesting place for a nap!”

The lizard is thought to be a Carolina anole lizard, commonly found in the southeastern United States.
