Loose Women fans are in for a treat on Monday, as the show will be extended by half an hour, as ITV overhauls its daytime schedule for Bank Holiday.

For over 20 years now, the ITV daytime programme has been a staple of lunchtime programming, with it always airing between 12.30 and 1.30pm, unless of course it's moved or cancelled for things like the Budget or the Cheltenham Festival. The show aired its final episode of this week on Friday, when Kaye Adams hosted and was joined by colleagues Myleene Klass, Judi Love and Kelly Holmes and there was some big news for viewers, when it was revealed that Monday's episode will run for 90 minutes rather than the usual 60.

It's not uncommon for ITV to make changes to its schedule on Bank Holidays, with This Morning and Loose Women sometimes taken off air altogether, but, as well as still being on TV, Loose Women will start at 12.30pm on May 6 and run all the way through to 2pm.

The likes of Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch will sit on the panel on Monday, with Christine Lampard on hosting duties, as the ladies are joined by Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett, who has just returned to Saturday night primetime TV with his new show In With A Shout.

The shake up of the ITV schedule is bad news for fans of shows like Riddiculous and Lingo, as neither of those will air, with Ben Shephard's Tipping Point also shelved, to make way for Jurassic Park film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
