Like a fine bottle of wine or an endowment mortgage, Loose Women's hosts have all got better with age. And as for the show, it's more popular than ever. Ladies, we're not sure what your secret is but please drop us a line when you have a moment.

Check out below what the stars have been up to over the last 19 years.

1. Ruth Langsford

This Morning host Ruth Langsford first appeared on Loose Women in the second ever episode, and has remained pretty constant ever since – although she took a break to become a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

Her sense of style has certainly changed over the years, with her brunette 'do now a thing of the past.

2. Kaye Adams

Kaye Adams was one of the original quartet in the first episode and she still remains a panellist to this day. Over the years, she has taken breaks from the show, once in 2006 and then again for two years in 2013, but she's now back where she belongs. Kaye has also made appearances on shows like Celebrity MasterChef, Live with... on Channel 5, The Wright Stuff and Sunday Scoop.

3. Jane Moore

Jane More was 37 when the first episode aired, but it's safe to say she's barely aged in the 19 years since. She stepped down from the show in 2002 and went on to appear in array of other shows including Breakfast with Frost, The Andrew Marr Show and Question Time. However, after a four-year break, she returned to Loose Women – and lived happily ever after.

4. Nadia Sawalha

Like Jane, Nadia Sawalha was a Loose Women original but left in 2002 before returning in 2013. Away from the show, she's appeared on reality shows like Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice and Celebrity MasterChef, while she's acted in both EastEnders and Benidorm.

5. Coleen Nolan

Coleen Nolan joined the show a year after its original launch in 1999 but she makes up such an important part of the Loose Women family that we decided to include her on this list anyway. She's a hugely popular panellist thanks to her dry sense of humour and blunt honesty. Understandably, she has taken a few breaks from the show to take part in series like Celebrity Big Brother. But now, her main focus is Loose Women #winning.

6. Karren Brady

Karren Brady was one of the first panellists and a far cry from the baroness politician of today (she's a current member of the House of Lords, previously serving in David Cameron's government). Unsurprisingly, her Loose Women day job was short lived when her career rocketed. Following her departure, she was made Lord Alan Sugar's assistant on The Apprentice. However, she still manages to find time to appear on Loose Women every so often.

7. Trish Adudu

Trish Adudu was part of the early panel for Loose Women, appearing between 1999 and 2000, before returning for guest appearances two years later. Although she didn't remain on the daytime show, she has kept busy, having featured regularly on The One Show as well as making appearances on ITV's Lorraine and OH TV's Real Talk.

8. Pattie Coldwell

Pattie Coldwell appeared on Loose Women's first and second series, sitting on the panel from 1999 to 2000, as well as ITV's spin off show/re-branding attempt Live Talk. Sadly Pattie – who had previously survived breast cancer – passed away in 2002 aged 50 from a brain tumour.

Loose Women is on ITV, weekdays at 12.30pm.
