Lorraine Kelly explains why she was missing from her ITV show
The star was nowhere to be seen on the latest instalment of her show
Lorraine Kelly has explained that she was missing from her daytime show because she was making a documentary.
The talk show host was absent from Thursday’s (6 July) instalment of the ITV programme, with Christine Lampard filling in.
Viewers were confused about why Kelly wasn’t there, as she usually hosts the programme on Thursdays unless it is during holiday time.

“Thanks @clbleakley for standing in @lorraine this morning and tomorrow while I am filming doco xxxx,” she tweeted.
“Much appreciated.”
One fan jokingly called 63-year-old Kelly a “layabout” after she explained why she was off.
Another tweeted: “Look forward to the doco, love your show, especially Monday to Thursday when you present xxx.”
The TV star did not share any further details on what the documentary was about.
In February, Kelly had to miss work because of illness.
The presenter was sent home as she was so under the weather and later told fans it had just been a "buglet".
