Yahoo News Lorraine Kelly lambasts Extinction Rebellion tube protest fight: 'Somebody's going to get killed'
Television host Lorraine Kelly has hit out at the latest Extinction Rebellion protests today, saying she "doesn't recognise" the UK anymore.
Activists climbed on top of a tube train at Canning Town station in an effort to disrupt the Jubilee Line but video footage has shown the protestors being pulled down from atop the carriages by angry commuters.
On Good Morning Britain, presenters Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard talked with Kelly, 59, who was in the Lorraine studio.

Before discussing what was coming up on her own show, Kelly shared her view on the demonstrations as she declared: "Morning, this is horrendous. I don’t recognise my country, what is going on? Absolutely horrible. People just trying to get to their work for goodness sake on the train there, which is electric anyway.
"I just don’t understand. It doesn’t make any sense to me. I think all of us have got sympathy for what they’re trying to do, but it’s just the way they’re going about it, it’s so toxic and divisive.
"Somebody’s going to get killed. It’s just nuts, absolutely nuts."
After watching a clip of the protestors, Shephard had his say over the demonstrations as he shared: "It’s tiring, isn’t it, watching it? It’s really, really shocking.
“That aggressive atmosphere when you’re just trying to get to work."
British Transport Police earlier confirmed that four arrests had been made following the disruptions.
Their Twitter account shared: "Four arrests have so far been made at the obstruction incidents at Stratford and Canning Town on the Jubilee Line.
"We remain at Shadwell DLR station, where specialist teams are working to remove four other protesters. #ExtinctionRebellion."

Meanwhile, the Lorraine has paid tribute to former Emmerdale actress Leah Bracknell after her death was announced yesterday afternoon.
A message to Twitter read: "We’re so saddened to hear of the death of Leah Bracknell. Sending our love and condolences to her family, friends and all the team at @emmerdale at this very sad time.
