Dannii Minogue has said that "it’s great" having Kylie Minogue back home in Australia.

The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head superstar relocated back to her native Melbourne earlier this year after residing in the UK for three decades.

Her younger sister Dannii said: "It’s great [having Kylie home]. We have a lot of family time.

"Our grandma is turning 103 in December so it’s just really nice to have that time for Kylie to spend with her nieces and nephews.

"Our cousins have just had babies."

Since her return to Australia, the former Neighbours star has been spending most of her days with Dannii and her 12-year-old son, Ethan.

"Kylie loves hanging out with my son," Dannii, 50, added to Hello! magazine.

"We love watching the movies, we go to the farm and see the animals and I like to cook for her.

"She loves my risotto and Kylie does these beautiful roasted tomatoes on bruschetta."

The Especially For You singer, 54, announced plans to relocate back to Australia in 2021 and told how her friends tried to dissuade her from making the move.

In a chat with BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball, she said: "I’ve had friends call me, my friend at my local restaurant was like: ‘Kylie, what do you mean? You can’t go’.

“I said: ‘I’m not really going. I’ve lived here [the UK] for 30 years, I’m always going to be back’."

She explained that she made the decision to be closer to her family.

"I have spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good and I have been talking about that for a while," added the former Neighbours star who reprised her famous role as Charlene Mitchell, for the soap’s finale in July.

"Don’t worry, I will not be a stranger."

Kylie has been in a relationship with Paul Solomons, 46, for three years.

The pair are now in a long-distance relationship after Solomons reportedly told pals he intends to stay in London.
